S B Air Consol Consolidated shipments are ideally suited to less time sensitive freight travelling to or from a major destination. We will consolidate your shipment with the freight of other clients and economically send this to the destination. Of course the same procedure will apply for your import freight, with the consolidation handled through our network of respected agents. This method of airfreight allows us to offer a much lower freight cost than through an express service, but with the same benefits of door to door delivery. We operate regular consolidated services into and out of many major destinations, worldwide. Our investment in tracking technology ensures that each import or export shipment is tracked from door to door. We have the ability to offer our clients a variety of tracking options, customised to meet their requirements.
S B Customs We are experienced customs brokers and members of the Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Federation of New Zealand (CBAFF). Our customs department operates a fully computerised entry preparation system, with a direct EDI link to New Zealand Customs. This system ensures you receive prompt accurate import entry transmission, minimising any delay in Customs clearance. Customs organisations globally are working towards technology allowing seamless paperless transactions between logistics providers and Government Customs Authorities. This type of transaction will lead to further speed savings in clearance, in turn benefiting customers through quicker delivery times. We ensure that our on-going systems reviews keep us at the forefront of this emerging technology, allowing us to offer the best system available to our clients. In addition to general customs clearance services, we also offer a range of value added consultancy services. As global market integration and deregulation continues to push forward, our customs team continually review and update trade and tariff information of relevance to each of our clients.
S B Ocean As the original mode of international transport for New Zealand, seafreight continues to play an important role in many industries. We offer a comprehensive global seafreight service, handling all types of cargo. A variety of services are available and can be tailored to meet the needs of each shipment. The base of these services are: Consolidated less than container load (LCL) Full container load (FCL) Breakbulk In addition to seafreight services we welcome the opportunity to provide you with associated services such as packing, documentation and insurance. We utilise leading shipping lines throughout the world, enabling us to offer schedules for most major ports. Our Import and Export departments access computer based monitoring systems, giving them the ability to track vessels and freight throughout their journey and provide regular updates to each client.
S B Projects This service is designed to handle any freight that is oversized or of extreme weight or measurement. We will co-ordinate the movement through from supplier to destination, advising the most effective means for each step of the transition. An S B Project involves dedicated team members co-ordinating the local tracking movement, aircraft of vessel loading, as well as customs clearance and final delivery to the project site. Whether it is a matter of managing a shipment of 250,000 tonnes of cargo for a refinery, or the relocation of an entire production line, we assume responsibility for the shipment throughout the entire transport period. With the support of our network of global agents, we can provide logistics solutions for any size project, to or from anywhere in the world.
S B Warehousing and Distribution We offer 3PL / Warehousing and Distribution solutions designed to add value to our clients’ products and assist them in maintaining their competitive advantage. When each and every person does what he or she does best, you can be assured profitability will result. Our customers reach higher profitability through the reduction of warehousing capital costs. This is one of the most important goals of the modern logistics solution. Efficient warehouses now operate to store products as briefly as possible, achieved through just in time supply and demand. This contributes to further profitability through clients achieving considerable reduction in inventory. Our logistics facility operates modern equipment and is certified by NZ Customs as an approved bond store. We offer conventional packing and distribution services, as well as comprehensive inventory management for our warehoused clients. Our ongoing commitment to technology has led to the development of our customised SBT inventory control system. We have established relationships with leading domestic carriers, allowing us to offer a variety of nationwide product distribution options. Coupled with our international services, we offer a comprehensive global distribution service. RF Wireless Technology SB has made a significant investment in radio frequency (RF) wireless technology to ensure an even higher level of accuracy within the warehouse is achieved. Not only does RF technology improve accuracy when picking orders, cycle counting and receipting into the warehouse, RF enables SB to report real-time data via the online Web Portal for its customers. S B Worldwide Express For time sensitive freight we offer our Worldwide Express service. Freight of any weight or size can be handled through this express service. For smaller shipments, we utilise the reliable, proven structure of one of the world’s leading express integrator’s. This is a company that specialises in the express door to door delivery of packages anywhere in the world. Our service focus continues to concentrate on 'right on time' delivery. Where shipments become uneconomical or too heavy for this carrier, we will arrange for immediate airfreight with one of our leading airline partners. Pick up, customs clearance and delivery will be monitored and completed through our network of worldwide agents. Our tracking systems enable import and export shipments to be tracked throughout their journey. We provide regular updates to the client, via traditional methods or through electronic systems such as e-mail. We strive to provide our clients with the most timely information available. Japan Speed Pack An innovative product unique to S B Worldwide Express is Japan Speed Pack. This express door to door service is specifically designed to quickly and safely transport Japanese tourists' purchases from souvenir shops and hotels in New Zealand and Australia to their home in Japan. The tourist purchases one of our conveniently sized cartons (min,small or large), and places inside all the items they wish to have sent home. In addition to our carton service, we also operate an exclusive service for the return of skis, surfboards and wine. Once the customer has packed their carton or skis we will then arrange for collection and airfreight to Tokyo, where our partner 'Meitetsu Air Cargo International' will complete customs clearance formalities. The Japan Speed Pack carton(s) will then be conveniently delivered to the customers door after they arrive home in Japan. Japan Speed Pack's are insured and individually monitored from pick up to final delivery in Japan.
